Organised by the School for Young Orators in partnership with the Council of Europe, this competition of eloquence joins students from member states of the Council of Europe in a gathering that honours the French-speaking world, rhetoric and the European identity.

This competition takes the form of three debates during which two candidates will make a speech defending a positive or negative position on a subject that has been given in advance. Since the objective of the prize is to promote unity by means of a shared language, the competition will be held in French.
