The Directorate of Communications is pleased to invite staff to attend the Grand Prix de l’Eloquence, an annual public speaking competition organised by the Ecole des Jeunes Orateurs of Science Po Strasbourg. Supported by the Council of Europe, the Competition will choose the best speakers debating controversial topical issues. These debating subjects are presented on the organiser’s website.
The event will take place on Monday, 25 April 2016, at 5pm in the big hemicycle of the Maison de la Région Alsace, 1, place Adrien Zeller, in Strasbourg.
The Deputy Secretary General, Ms Gabriella Battaini-Dragoni, will represent the Council of Europe in the jury chaired by Mr Jean-Pierre Raffarin.
Tickets are available on this website, priced at €3. Part of the proceeds will be donated to charity.
