Όλοι μαθαίνουμε στο σπίτι, το σχολείο και μέσα από τις καθημερινές μας δραστηριότητες πώς να γίνουμε υπεύθυνοι πολίτες, σήμερα όμως είναι άκρως σημαντικό να γίνουμε, εμείς και τα παιδιά μας, και ψηφιακοί πολίτες.
Το Συμβούλιο της Ευρώπης κατάρτισε τον παρόντα οδηγό για να σας βοηθήσει να:
• κατανοήσετε καλύτερα την έννοια της ψηφιακής ιθαγένειας και πώς αυτή διαμορφώνει τη διαδικτυακή συμπεριφορά·
• συζητήσετε την ψηφιακή ιθαγένεια με τα παιδιά σας·
• προβείτε στις κατάλληλες ενέργειες προκειμένου να βοηθήσετε τα παιδιά σας να αποκτήσουν τις ικανότητες στις οποίες στηρίζεται η ψηφιακή ιθαγένεια·
• ενθαρρύνετε το σχολείο των παιδιών σας να διαδραματίσει το ρόλο που
του αναλογεί στην εκπαίδευση ικανών νέων ψηφιακών πολιτών.
