Les chercheurs dans le domaine de la jeunesse rassemblent des connaissances et des données sur la vie des jeunes, et peuvent ainsi fournir des éléments d’information indispensables à l’élaboration de politiques et d’initiatives de jeunesse plus pertinentes et de meilleure qualité. Comment expliquent-ils aux différents publics l’aboutissement de leur travail ? Pour que les connaissances acquises viennent étayer les politiques et soutenir la pratique, il est essentiel que les résultats des recherches soient efficacement communiqués aux responsables politiques, aux praticiens du travail de jeunesse, aux organisations de jeunesse et aux jeunes. La transmission des connaissances constitue un ensemble d’outils et d’activités sur lesquels les chercheurs peuvent s’appuyer dans ce processus.
