Heritage protection, cultural tourism and transnational cooperation through the Cultural Routes
This publication presents the results of the discussions held during the Routes4U meeting for the Alpine Region (2-3 April 2019, Bard, Italy) but also goes a step further. The “Roadmap for the Alpine Region” sets out recommendations and future steps to be taken in the framework of the Routes4U Project, in line with the similar publications for the Adriatic-Ionian, Baltic Sea and Danube Regions. This publication is the beginning of a journey that, in a few years, will lead to the certification as “Cultural Route of the Council of Europe” of some of the priority projects identified by the EUSALP co-ordinators.
