On 20 May, Ireland has taken over the rotating Chairmanship of the Council of Europe’s Committee of Ministers from Italy at the annual meeting of foreign ministers from the organisation’s 46 member states. Ireland’s Presidency will focus on three main priorities: reinforcing human rights and the protection of civilians in Europe, promoting participatory democracy and youth engagement, and fostering a Europe of welcome, inclusion, and diversity.

Cuimsítear leis gach cineál gáinneála (idir idirnáisiúnta agus trasnáisiúnta, bíodh baint aici le coireacht eagraithe nó ná bíodh) agus áirítear leis gach íospartach gáinneála (mná, fir agus leanaí), chomh maith le gach cineál dúshaothraithe.
