The European Youth Foundation (EYF), set up in 1972, plays a pivotal role in the Council of Europe’s work to encourage co-operation between young people in Europe and to facilitate their active participation in civil society and political decision-making.
For over 40 years the EYF has been providing assistance and funding for youth activities which promote human rights, democracy, tolerance and solidarity. It gives young people a voice in political and democratic life and the tools they need to function effectively in today’s diverse societies.
