Bu nedenle tarih öğretimi çatışma bölgelerinde ve çatışma sonrası bölgelerde barışı ve uzlaşmayı destekleyen bir araç olabildiği gibi göç, göçmenler ve değişen nüfus faktörleri gibi olgularla uğraşırken hoşgörü ve anlayışı destekleyen bir araç da olabilir.” Avrupa Knseyi Parlamenter Meclisi’oninÇatışma Bölgelerinde ve Çatışma Sonrası Bölgelerde Tarih Öğretimi’ne dair 1880 sayılı Tavsiye Kararı (2009).
